This music venue explores future possibilities through the usage of biobased materials—natural, renewable resources like plants, fungi, and agricultural waste. The building features a mycelium facade symbolizing growth, while its interior incorporates clay plaster, bio-laminate, tiles, and wooden panels that simultaneously enhance the indoor climate. A modular wood structure serves as the building's load-bearing foundation, fully embracing the use of alternative materials and construction techniques. Further minimizing the building’s environmental impact, the design includes a thermal and soundproofing buffer zone with natural ventilation, rainwater harvesting for reuse and the generation of renewable energy generation through solar power.
